well what he told me was that the french put their forces near one place in particular and then the germans came and sorrounded the french..Then he laughed and said that the french were mean to the americans and I said that have good reasons to do so and so I told him . and he did not say nothing after wards

he's true right this. French did a line (that cost a lot) called the "ligne Maginot" that was supposed to stop the German. It was along the north and the East of france, on about 70km. but the thing was that : First :

But, there are few things that may make you friend not so proud of their country, and that he may not know about the US in WW2 :

1- he can't laugh about French in WW2 because the war occured in OUR country, for the american, it was quite simple, they just had to send their army there. but for us, there were 50 millions of dead, plus about 30 millions that disapeared or were seriously injured. And the majority weren't even in the military, just ordinary civilians.
2- We are not gonna kiss the US shoes because they 'saved us' because the fact is they let European people slaughter eachother, and only moved when Japanese and German attacked pearl harbor.
3- They played userer with all country that was devastated by the war, when these country wanted to rebuilt.
4- they sent 2 atomic bomb On Hiroshima and Nagasaki, even if the german and the Japanese already showed the white flag. Probably to affirm their new supremacy and test those new toys theyjust invented.

That was for the WW2

I could also mention the Northwood plan, or how American said "yes, Amen" to Bush when he said he was gonna attack Irak.


So in matter of stupidity, French do not earn the palm I guess.


He should learn about history before talking, and learn a little bit about his own ciountry before pointing other's mistake.

Yeah you are right...Though I was thinking of telling my mom soon I now know that I can't ever tell her, it makes me sad that they would not accept me if I was to tell......
